I'm Jackson. I grew up in Eastern Kentucky. I'm warmly provocative and I like to think I'm funny. I have an Appalachian twang. I'm Queer. I'm a minister in the Baptist tradition, but also consider myself a "Multiple participant" in a variety of spiritual traditions. I'm complex. I'm messy sometimes. I'm human. I fight for the LGBTQIA+ community, especially in faith spaces. I fight for the marginalized while paradoxically being complicit in the marginalization. I love my family and my home. I currently study social justice and theology at Union Theological Seminary. Yep, I'm one of THOSE ministers.
